{ Norfolk Wedding Photographer Nicki Thurgar } is based near Norwich and provides wedding and lifestyle photography all over East Anglia, including Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk

My background - You'll hear the words "passionate" from lots of photographers when it comes to their work - but for me photography really is something I've been passionate about since my teens. After much training and many courses (and becoming a bit of a photography bore!) I started to assist a fellow photographer with her weddings - and realised this was the job for me! To be able to combine a passion for photography, an interest in people watching and a love of everything about weddings (the emotion, the detail and effort put into the day, the dress, the flowers!) is my idea of the perfect job!

How I work - My aim is to put my clients at ease so that even the most camera shy people will relax and enjoy being photographed. I go that extra mile when it comes to my work - I have items to cover just about every eventuality in my camera bag and I'm a very calm and un-flappable person, even at the most stressful moments! Getting to know my clients well before their wedding day means that the images I create on the day are natural, not posed, and portray real emotion resulting in a unique, artistic and personal set of photographic memories. 

My style - I try not to interrupt your day but prefer to watch and capture the natural moments in a "storytelling" style - but I will also round up guests efficiently for any group shots required!

The Technical Stuff - All the equipment I use is of high professional standard and I am also fully insured. My wedding packages start from £695 and include not only an online viewing and printing gallery but also an engagement shoot. A large choice of albums and coffee table photo books are available too.

I also offer lifestyle portrait photo sessions at your home or on location – great fun with wonderful resulting images – you’ll love it!
